We want to see the world develop in a sustainable way, from the ground up. Communities are often ignored in the climate conversation, however, this is where the change starts. Communities need to be engaged and taught about environmental issues, and what they can do about it.
The world is after all simply made up of millions of communities...Let's make them green ones.
It’s no mystery that the world needs to become more sustainable. A climate catastrophe is nearly upon us. Governments need to legislate, bad polluting businesses need to be held responsible, environmentally conscious businesses celebrated, organisations need to lobby, communities empowered and individuals must make small changes to their lives.
Growing Green Communities was born to make a difference, in anyway we can. We connect and promote eco-conscious businesses through our green events. We empower communities and individuals through our many engagement projects, and we teach everyone we can how to live, grow, and thrive in a sustainable way.
Around the world, there are thousands of businesses striving to be more sustainable in their practices. There are so many eco-warriors actively removing waste from the environment, and there are millions of people who realise now is the time for change. If you're worried about the future of our planet, please join in the conversation on our social media, write to us with your eyewitness accounts, and visit our resources page for all our tips and tricks on how you can live a more sustainable lifestyle.
We believe in living in harmony with the environment and all the creatures that depend on the environment—including the other 7 billion people who live on this planet. For us, that means supporting sustainability in several different ways.

“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make.”
